St. Richard’s Episcopal Church in Lake Arrowhead will present a piano recital by Noëlle Compinsky Tinturin as part of their Advent Lessons and Carols service on Sunday, December 12 at 2:00pm.  The service will include biblical readings, Advent hymns and prayers, and a 45-minute recital by Tinturin.

For this program, Noëlle will perform music by Bach, Albeniz, Rachmaninoff, Gershwin, Piazzolla, and to celebrate his 200th anniversary, music by Chopin.

Following the service and concert, the church will host their beautiful, annual “Silver Tea” – a traditional “high tea.”

Noëlle Tinturin is now teaching piano in Ventura County.  Due to the increasing demand for music instructors in this area, Noëlle Tinturin is now teaching weekly in Camarillo Monday through Wednesday. Noëlle, a long-standing member of the San Bernardino Branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) has also joined the Pleasant Valley Branch which serves all of Camarillo, Oxnard, and Ventura. So all of her students will be eligible to participate in all MTAC events, including festivals, competitions, and recitals.  She is looking forward to developing new young talent in Ventura County, and she is accepting students of all levels from beginning through advanced, and from age 5 to adult.
